With all due respect, some of you seem to be grossly misinformed! According to modern discourses on racism, we know that at the heart of any racism, for there is certainly several, lies the distribution of power. That is, racism has always been a discourse or government pertaining to power or control. Further, we do know of a surety that the racism prevalent within this racialist country is a scientific one: namely, a racism constructed by scientist, under the pseudoscience of biologism. Moreover, although there are many other factors that have certainly helped define “racism” as we know it within America nowadays (i.e. classic revival, Cartesian transformation of philosophy etc.), the scientific element is certainly the most obvious: i.e. black and white skin. Notwithstanding, as aforementioned, a manifestation of this said “power” is ”White Supremacy”; namely, the “overwhelming domination” or hegemony of white America! Therefore, how can any person of color, especially a Black person, be racist against a white individual, especially when we know in what people whom “power” currently resides? For that matter, by definition, how can a Black person be a “racist” towards another person of color, especially if he or she is from the same misnomer “race”? Peace! Look I get da point you are trying to make but anyone can be racist. White, blackor even purple.  Just because the power lies with the white race and to some any minority is beneath them, any one can have those negatie festering feelings towards another race.  $hit I've been called a racist on this very same board and you know what I proved him false.  I was being nationalist but not racist.  I don't hate any race. I just hate people.  Cheesy Cheesy Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

I highly disagree. You do not get the point. Racism is not defined by another hating another because of his or her race or skin. Rather, ?racism? is defined as the belief that race, or one?s race, is the primary determinant of traits and characteristics, and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority within that particular race! If you do not believe me, you may go to Webster Online and type in ?racism?.? By definition, ?racism? cannot be ascribed to anyone. You have been using ?racism? as a misnomer. Your second post makes way more sense. The craziest thing about "supremecists" is they generally sit on their asses and think everyone owes them something because of their race, but they ain't out trying to RUN a steel mill or improve their situation. "If Black and White didn't argue the most they'd clearly see the Government's screwin em' both"-KRS-ONE. That line is crazy cause it kind of sums up the classic ruling strategy of getting the pawns to go after one another instead of the King and Queen.

Yes racism is a tool, make no mistake though classism is the reason behind it.  Every individual can trace back to a time in history when their ancestors have been wronged and done wrong.  In most of those cases the acts were commited for some sort of financial gain for one party or the other.  No group is guilt free including religions and governments.  The problem is that those with money or power can be corrupted by their power and seek to maintain it even if this means dividing the people without it.  It has been division that has also been the downfall of most groups.  There really can not be racism if everyone ceases to buy into it since humans are humans they should all respect eachother nomatter what they do or believe

I got what you said when you stated that a racist believes that one racial features entitles them to be superior but that's not what you originally stated.  But what about those who are racist against thier own?  That look on racism can be said to be a ploy to divide and conquer. There are many peole who are embarrasessed of thier heritage and sometimes downright hateful.   But a house without a foundation cannot stand for long. Hey I just don't like fat broad who show all thier junk. Shocked Shocked Each group can state that thier is something superior about themselves but it all comes down to a person's character.  My best friend is one of the dingiest people that I have eva met but that's my dogg because I know she is down for me and my fam.  Where as I cannot say the same for some of my own blood.
